They have been edited into a single word document for the purpose of longevity within this portfolio, with identifying information redacted.
Skills and Technologies
Performance Improvement; Gap Analysis; Root Cause Analysis; Front-End Analysis; Training Needs Analysis; Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Method.
Context
The Graduate Program within the client's organization was experiencing record low enrollment numbers and wanted to seek out the causes and solutions to the problem.
Action
A design plan and facilitator guide, including lesson plan, were developed. For the purposes of EDUC 602, the lesson plan focuses on Module 4: How to Make PDF Documents Accessible.
A performance gap analysis, root cause analysis, and front-end analysis were conducted to determine possible causes and solutions to the client's problem. Once it was determined that training was a possible solution to some performance issues, a training needs analysis, learning event design plan, and evaluation instruments were created.
Results
The client was provided with the various analyses of their issue. Unfortunately due to funding constraints, they chose not to move forward with further development of the proposed training. Fortunately, the program has since seen increases in enrollment.
