
Violence Prevention Microlearnings
The series "Targeted Violence Prevention for the Veteran and Military Family Community," is composed of three main topics: Understand Extremism, Learn about Prevention, and Build Awareness about Extremist Narratives. The series, as a whole, consists of three interactive microlearnings and eight video microlearnings.
This publicly available training content is IP of START at the University of Maryland, College Park. This project was federally funded.

Context
The client requested a series of microlearnings be created on the topic of targeted violence prevention, with a focus audience of veteran and military family member communities. Microlearnings were chosen as a medium in order to increase dissemination.
Action
The ISD team worked in consultation with the client and SMEs to design content and scripts, which was chunked into 3 main topics. The content was then developed into microlearnings using Genial.ly and Vyond.
Note: For this project, I was responsible for secondary review of scripting, and development of instructional materials (interaction and video files.)
Results
Three interactive microlearnings were developed, in addition to 8 microlearning videos. These videos are currently available on the client's public website.
