Context
For academic purposes, we were asked to reflect on what would be a useful job-aid for an instructional designer. It was determined that a quick recap on elements of a design plan would be helpful.
Action
Utilizing an infographic application, Piktochart, and drawing from Dr. Chuck Hodell's work in "ISD from the Ground Up: A No-nonsense Approach to Instructional Design" we summarized seven common elements of a design plan. As an infographic, the job aid can be easily referenced to ensure that the design plan is appropriately covering critical elements of a course.
Results
This job aid had been provided to the training team within my organization and can be shared with other instructional designers anc curriculum developers.
